When Does It NOT Pay Off?

In all honesty: there are scenarios where an AI employee doesn’t make sense:

• Legally binding decisions (contract conclusion, termination) — you need draft-only plus human approval
• Very volatile business with strongly fluctuating volume — the fixed costs of AI don’t amortize

How to Calculate ROI for Your Business

1. Capture one week of all inquiries per channel (email, phone, chat)
2. Categorize: Which are routine (80%) and which need human expertise (20%)?
3. Estimate the time per routine request: 5-15 minutes typical
4. Multiply: Count × time = hours per week
5. Multiply by hourly rate = cost of current handling
6. Compare with AI cost (typically 1/10 to 1/5)
